Senior Regional Business Manager - Oncology Diagnostics
About the role
This senior commercial role leads strategic market expansion for oncology diagnostic solutions across Germany and Switzerland. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the position combines strong scientific and clinical understanding with advanced strategic account leadership. The role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to drive diagnostic adoption, shape regional market development, and deliver sustainable growth.
Location
This position can be based anywhere in Germany or Switzerland, with remote working and regular regional travel.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and consistently exceed regional sales and growth targets through strategic planning and execution
- Develop and implement multi‑layered account strategies across academic centers, oncology networks, and diagnostic laboratories
- Build senior‑level relationships with clinical decision makers, pathology leaders, oncology KOLs, and laboratory executives
- Act as a subject matter expert, educating stakeholders on oncology diagnostics, clinical evidence, and value propositions
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through close cross‑functional collaboration
- Tailor value messaging to clinical, operational, economic, and executive stakeholders
- Represent customer insights to influence commercial strategy, product direction, and market development
- Drive regional access strategies through laboratory and partner engagement
- Manage territorial prioritisation, pipeline development, and forecasting with strong analytical discipline
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal quality standards
- Model collaborative leadership and support alignment across internal teams
Skills and experience
- 8+ years of commercial experience in oncology pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or diagnostics
- Proven success managing and growing a complex geographic region with high autonomy
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline; advanced degree desirable
- Strong scientific and clinical knowledge in oncology diagnostics
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior clinical, laboratory, and healthcare stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
- Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
- Experience working effectively in a remote, field‑based commercial role
- High standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
