Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Development

  • Define the product roadmap aligned with market needs, scientific goals, and technical feasibility.

  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and commercial stakeholders to align product development with business and research objectives.

  • Evaluate usability and interface design by engaging with the user base and integrating feedback into ongoing development.

  • Monitor market trends and scientific demands to ensure relevance and impact in preclinical research environments.

  • Coordinate with operations and regulatory teams to ensure product readiness and compliance with applicable standards.

User Engagement & Market Insight

  • Gather and analyze feedback from researchers and users to guide continuous improvement.

  • Conduct interviews and usability studies with target users to optimize adoption and satisfaction.

  • Maintain a strong connection with the academic and research community to understand emerging needs and translate them into product capabilities.

  • Represent the product at conferences, workshops, and professional gatherings, strengthening connections with thought leaders and potential users.

Commercial Enablement & Positioning

  • Work alongside marketing, sales, and technical experts to shape product positioning, competitive advantages, and key value propositions.

  • Support commercial teams with training, strategic messaging, and performance insights.

  • Partner with business development teams to identify pilot users and reference sites, helping validate and grow the product footprint.

  • Contribute to the creation of technical materials and scientific communication to support outreach and education.

  • Define success metrics related to customer satisfaction, market traction, and adoption rates.

  • Monitor industry evolution and emerging technologies to inform long-term product direction.

Candidate Profile

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D., M.Sc., M.D.) in life sciences, biomedical engineering, physics, or related fields.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or similar roles within biotech or medtech; familiarity with imaging or analytical systems is an asset.

  • Strong technical and analytical mindset, capable of engaging effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Proven project management abilities and excellent organizational skills.

  • Self-starter with a collaborative spirit and adaptability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

  • Fluency in English; additional language skills (especially German) are a plus.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, with flexibility for more if desired.
