Senior Medical Writer

EPM is working with an independent, award-winning global medical communications agency that's looking to add a Senior Medical Writer to join their dynamic team!

You'll lead client programs, mentor teammates, and help shape a maturing US operation backed by established global teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead scientific content creation across publications and medical affairs, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress and symposia materials, medical education assets, and plain‑language summaries.
• Own projects and clients including medical strategy, plan timelines, guide execution, and ensuring quality as the main point of contact for the accounts.
• Review and mentor colleagues to elevate output and develop the team's capabilities.
• Help identify opportunities, shape proposals, and nurture strong client relationships.
• Work cross functionally with US and global peers across adjacent offerings as needed.

 

Key Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a life science discipline (Masters, PhD, PharmD)
• 2-3 years of professional, full-time experience at a healthcare/medical communications agency focused on publications and/or medical affairs
• Hybrid flexible - must be willing to be hybrid 2-3 times a week
• A proven ability to craft high‑quality scientific content and to partner effectively with clients
