About the Role

A growing medical technology organisation is seeking a Clinical Specialist to join their dynamic team. This field-based role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cardiology, clinical practice, or catheterisation laboratory nursing, who enjoys working hands-on with clinicians and supporting advanced procedures across hospitals in the Netherlands.

As a Clinical Specialist, you will provide on-site expertise, training, and support for cardiovascular procedures. You will work closely with physicians, cath lab staff, and internal commercial teams to ensure optimal product utilisation and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring safe and effective use of the company's technology.
• Deliver training and education to physicians, nurses, and wider hospital staff.
• Act as the primary clinical contact for hospitals, supporting both new implementations and routine cases.
• Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and follow-up training sessions.
• Collaborate with sales teams during evaluations, trials, and onboarding of new sites.
• Travel extensively (approx. 70%) throughout the Netherlands to cover hospital sites.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge in cardiology and device-specific applications.
• Ensure all field activities comply with clinical, regulatory, and quality standards.

Profile & Requirements

• Background in cardiology, either as:
  • A clinical specialist from medical devices, and/or
  • A nurse or technician with experience in the cath lab, EP lab, or interventional cardiology.
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures and workflows.
• Comfortable providing hands-on clinical support in live settings.
• Willing and enthusiastic about significant travel (up to 70%).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with clinical professionals.
• Independent, proactive, and able to manage a field-based schedule effectively.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is preferred.
