Senior Analytical Chemist

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate analytical methods for raw materials, formulations, and stability samples in compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH).
• Troubleshoot and optimize analytical techniques and resolve method-related issues independently.
• Develop and validate in vitro testing methods such as dissolution or transdermal assays.
• Conduct routine laboratory testing internally and coordinate with external labs where required.
• Present analytical findings clearly and effectively to management.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of all laboratory activities in line with GLP standards.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and adherence to calibration schedules.
• Enforce laboratory safety practices and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, including HPLC and UV-Vis spectrophotometry.
• Familiarity with LC/MS techniques is advantageous.
• Good understanding of ICH guidelines related to analytical method development and validation.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
