Sales Specialist - DACH
Location: Germany (Remote)
Territory: Germany & Austria
An innovative and growing life sciences organisation is seeking a Sales Specialist to support commercial expansion across Germany and Austria.
This role offers the opportunity to work with laboratories, healthcare organisations, research institutions, and other stakeholders across the diagnostics and life sciences market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving territory growth within a highly specialised scientific environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the DACH region
- Build relationships with key decision-makers within laboratories, hospitals, research organisations, and healthcare networks
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to closing opportunities
- Deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations, and scientific discussions
- Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events
- Collaborate with internal commercial, technical, and marketing teams to support customer success
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records
Requirements
- Commercial experience within life sciences, diagnostics, biotechnology, laboratory technologies, or a related scientific field
- Proven ability to generate new business and develop strategic customer relationships
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Scientific degree preferred, although relevant industry experience will also be considered
- Fluent German and English
- Willingness to travel across Germany and Austria as required
