Sales Manager - Textiles
Sales Manager DACH (Chemical Industry / Textile Industry)
Location: Home-based, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop existing customers, primarily within the textile industry, while driving new business acquisition.
- Take responsibility for growing sales within a dynamic and growth-oriented organization.
- Independently prepare quotations and conduct pricing and commercial negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Build strong customer relationships, identify customer needs, and act as a trusted advisor.
- Recognize market opportunities and customer projects, defining and managing them through to successful commercial implementation with support from internal experts and networks.
- Maintain regular reporting of sales activities and progress using CRM systems and other internal tools.
- Organize extensive business travel throughout the DACH region from a home-office environment.
- Develop territory strategies and sales plans independently while coordinating with management and reporting within a regional organization that is part of a global structure.
Candidate Profile
- Highly target-driven sales professional with proven success in a similar commercial role within the chemical industry.
- Experience in sectors such as fibers, polymers, lubricants, and/or surfactants is preferred, although candidates from related backgrounds will also be considered.
- Strong commercial mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities, curiosity, and a customer-focused approach.
- Well-structured communicator with the ability to build and maintain professional networks.
- Project management experience and strong organizational skills.
- Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Chemistry, Textile Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred. Candidates from alternative backgrounds are also welcome.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with SAP and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) would be advantageous.
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
- Additional European languages are a plus.
