Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer - Life Sciences Industry (Netherlands)

We're looking for a Quality Engineer to oversee the validated state of products, processes, methods, and equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards across the organisation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Take responsibility for issuing, reviewing, and approving validation documents, particularly related to gamma irradiation and product sterility claims.
• Coordinate validation activities and collaborate with laboratory contractors on the development of analysis methods.
• Support customer service by preparing responses to customer questionnaires, surveys, and certification requests.
• Lead plant-wide projects as the primary Quality Lead, driving quality initiatives across the organisation.

What We're Looking For:

• Degree: Master's in a scientific field, preferably in Life Sciences (bio, biomedical, chemical, pharma, etc.)
• Experience: 3+ years in a quality engineering or similar role in the life sciences industry.
• Language: Proficiency in English (written & spoken), Dutch.
• Skills: Strong analytically mindset with the ability to use data analysis to creatively and pragmatically solve problems.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with quality standards ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
• Collaborative: Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, and customer service teams.
