Product Compliance Expert

EPM Scientific is currently partnered with a leading Manufacturing client in search of a Product Compliance Expert for 12 months.

This position plays a key role in ensuring regulatory alignment across a diverse product portfolio, with a strong focus on environmental and material compliance

Core Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of specific regulatory domains related to product compliance, including but not limited to RoHS, REACH, SCIP, POP, Conflict Minerals, WEEE, and PFAS.
  • Track and interpret evolving global regulations affecting product materials and environmental standards. Assess their impact, implement necessary changes, and maintain clear, structured documentation.
  • Contribute to internal monitoring systems focused on chemical legislation and substance restrictions, including regulatory submissions such as EU REACH and related compliance activities.
  • Lead initiatives within the environmental compliance scope, ensuring alignment with internal frameworks and external obligations.
  • Manage data workflows and support compliance campaigns using platforms like Source Intelligence, including oversight of material and substance databases.
  • Address inquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders regarding compliance with assigned regulations, and assist in resolving related product compliance matters.
  • Collaborate on the development and governance of the organization's compliance strategy, including reporting mechanisms and regulatory tracking tools.
  • Support the creation and refinement of compliance-related processes and documentation (e.g., templates, guidelines, forms) in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Skills:

  • Degree in engineering, material or natural sciences (BSc or MSc)
  • Product / Material Compliance (e.g. EU REACH SCIP Reporting, EU RoHS etc.)
