🔎Our client is seeking an experienced Packaging Engineer to support a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing operation in Dublin. The role has evolved from an initial requirement focused on Process Engineering/MSAT support and is now centred around finding a well-rounded engineer with strong packaging experience and broader manufacturing engineering exposure.

⚡What You'll Be Doing:
✅Provide engineering support for pharmaceutical packaging operations and equipment.
✅Support scale-up and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
✅Identify and implement process, equipment, and operational improvements.
✅Work closely with Operations, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, and Technical Services teams.
✅Troubleshoot packaging-related issues and support root cause investigations.
✅Assist with project delivery across manufacturing and site engineering functions.
✅Support wider engineering projects as business needs dictate, including facility and utility-related initiatives.
✅Ensure all activities comply with GMP, safety, and site procedures.
✅Contribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.

🎓What We're Looking For:
✔Degree qualified in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
✔Approximately 10-15 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
✔Strong packaging engineering experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
✔Experience supporting manufacturing operations, equipment, and process improvements.
✔Exposure to scale-up, technical operations, process engineering, or MSAT activities is advantageous.
✔Familiarity with sterilisation processes or sterile manufacturing environments is desirable.
✔Broad engineering mindset with the flexibility to support projects beyond packaging when required.
✔Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
✔Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
