EPM Scientific is partnering with an innovative biotechnology organization that is redefining cancer detection through advanced blood-based genomic testing. As our client continues to expand its Medical Affairs field team, we are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support its growing cancer screening portfolio.
This field-based role offers the opportunity to engage with leading healthcare professionals, contribute to the adoption of cutting-edge diagnostic technologies, and support scientific initiatives that have the potential to improve patient outcomes through earlier cancer detection.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong scientific relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, researchers, and other external stakeholders across the assigned territory.
- Serve as a scientific resource and communicate clinical data, published literature, and medical information related to the company's screening technologies.
- Support medical education programs, advisory boards, scientific meetings, and congress activities.
- Gather and communicate actionable field insights to Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate on evidence-generation initiatives, clinical research activities, and investigator-sponsored studies.
- Partner effectively with internal Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Commercial stakeholders while maintaining a compliant, non-promotional approach.
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, DNP, or equivalent).
- 2+ years of MSL experience required
- Experience in oncology, molecular diagnostics, genomics, precision medicine, GI, primary care, or related therapeutic areas strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data to a variety of audiences.
- Proven relationship-building, presentation, and scientific engagement skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned geography.
