Key Account Manager - South Germany

EPM Scientific are working exclusively with a multinational, market leader specialised in high-quality decorative paints & performance coatings who are looking for a Key Account Manager to join their German team.

2024 resulted in record sales and operating profits for this organisation and they are now looking for a driven individual who will have a focus on selling Performance Coatings products to both new and existing customers in South Germany.

In addition to driving new business, you will develop strategic partnerships & manage key accounts, focusing on fire protection coatings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop business within the segment and area through market visits and customer strategies.
  • Prioritize and develop key accounts using company tools and KPIs.
  • Create new customers by market analysis and swift response to inquiries.
  • Gather and analyze market trends and competition to develop business strategies.
  • Guide key projects, ensuring product usage and monitoring performance.
  • Maintain customer relationships through regular visits and product advice.
  • Monitor pricing and payment to achieve financial targets.

Requirements:

  • Experience with yards/applicators and selling fire protection coatings.
  • Willingness to acquire new customers in South Germany.
  • Proven track record in sales growth and profitability.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
