Key Account Manager - Clinical Trial Supply (CTS)

A leading global pharmaceutical services provider is looking to hire a Key Account Manager to support the growth and development of its Clinical Trial Supply (CTS) business.
With a strong international footprint across Europe, North America, and Asia, this organisation partners with biotech, pharma, and CRO clients to deliver end-to-end solutions across clinical trial logistics, comparator sourcing, and early access programmes.
The Role
You'll take ownership of strategic accounts, driving long-term partnerships, revenue growth, and client satisfaction across global programmes.
This is a highly collaborative role, working cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and senior leadership to ensure seamless delivery across complex clinical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key global CTS accounts, ensuring long-term client retention
- Build strong, senior-level relationships across sponsors and CROs
- Coordinate global account activity and oversee project delivery alignment
- Lead client meetings (virtual and in-person) and act as the main commercial contact
- Develop account plans, track performance, and report on KPIs and pipeline
- Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotes, and commercial solutions
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and expand service offering
- Partner with internal teams to ensure high-quality execution and client satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and share insights internally
- Support contract implementation (e.g. MSAs, CDAs, Quality Agreements)
Your Profile
- Experience in pharma services, CRO, or clinical trial supply
- Strong background in clinical trial logistics / comparator sourcing / CTS
- Proven track record managing and growing key strategic accounts
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation and client-facing skills
- Experience working in international, matrix environments
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
- Willingness to travel as required
