Position Overview

We are looking for a resourceful and adaptable HR Generalist to join a growing HR team in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. This role operates within a lean structure and works in close partnership with the HR Manager, supporting a wide range of responsibilities across the full employee lifecycle.

The individual in this position will play a key role in delivering day-to-day HR operations while contributing to broader people initiatives. Success in this role requires a well-rounded HR background, the ability to shift between multiple priorities, and comfort working across recruitment, operations, and compliance. Experience in the biopharmaceutical or biotechnology sector is strongly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the HR Manager to support ongoing HR operations, ensuring continuity across responsibilities through cross-functional knowledge sharing
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and general inquiries
  • Maintain and update employee information within HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination across multiple locations
  • Assist with offer development and oversee onboarding processes to ensure a seamless and compliant new hire experience
  • Coordinate administrative and compliance-related activities associated with expansion into new states, including payroll and registration requirements
  • Stay current on applicable employment laws and regulatory requirements, particularly in a multi-state environment, to support organizational compliance
  • Track completion of mandatory training programs and ensure adherence to compliance standards
  • Partner with managers and employees on performance management processes, including documentation and feedback cycles
  • Contribute to additional HR projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Approximately 3-5 years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist or similar role within a fast-paced setting
  • Must have experience working in the life science industry
  • Prior experience supporting commercial or corporate functions within the biopharma or biotech industry is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with HR systems, including HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and compliance tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in a fluid, evolving environment
  • Solid understanding of multi-state employment regulations and HR best practices
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative and hands-on approach
