Group Copy Supervisor (Market Access)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Group Copy Supervisor (GCS) to join our Market Access team, specializing in Payer Access Marketing. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare reimbursement landscape, including payers, PBMs, IDNs, and specialty pharmacies. This role requires a strong background in medical writing, promotional copy development, and a passion for translating complex clinical and economic data into compelling, payer-relevant messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Copy Development: Create and supervise the development of high-quality, accurate, and engaging content for payer marketing materials, including AMCP dossiers, value proposition decks, formulary kits, payer leave-behinds, and digital tools.
- Strategic Messaging: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, account, medical, and design) to craft messaging that aligns with brand strategy and resonates with payer audiences.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage junior copywriters, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure consistent quality and tone across all deliverables.
- Client Engagement: Present creative concepts and content to clients, incorporating feedback and ensuring alignment with brand and regulatory standards.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all content adheres to regulatory, legal, and medical standards, including referencing and annotation for MLR submissions.
- Therapeutic Expertise: Stay current on therapeutic area developments, competitive landscape, and payer trends to inform content strategy and execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare advertising or medical communications, with at least 3 years in a market access copywriting
- Proven experience in payer marketing or market access communications
- Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare system, including payer decision-making processes
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex scientific and economic data
- Familiarity with AMCP dossier structure, HEOR data, and value-based messaging
- Experience with MLR review processes and referencing tools (e.g., Veeva Vault)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
