EPM Scientific are are partnering with leading organization who are seeking a visionary Executive Director of Biostatistics & Data Science to lead strategy and execution across their global clinical portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in neuroscience, including Alzheimer's disease and related biomarkers.
About the Role
As Executive Director, you will:
- Define and execute Clinical Data Science strategies for global development programs
- Serve as the primary data science representative to health authorities, influencing regulatory perspectives
- Drive adoption of AI/ML methodologies for disease modeling, biomarker analysis, and precision medicine
- Oversee large-scale initiatives ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, shaping best practices
- Lead and mentor a global team of data scientists and managers
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership in clinical trial design and data science integration
- Innovation in AI/ML applications for imaging, genomics, proteomics, and precision medicine
- Regulatory engagement and defense of data strategies
- Operational excellence in GxP compliance, vendor management, and budget oversight
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or related computational sciences
- 10+ years of experience in clinical development, data science, and biostatistics
- Recognized leader in AI/ML or precision medicine
- Proven regulatory engagement and external presentation experience
- Strong leadership skills with global team management experience
- Preferred: Research experience in neurology, especially Alzheimer's biomarkers (plasma, CSF, imaging)
