Executive Director of Biostatistics Data Science

EPM Scientific are partnering with a leading firm who are seeking a visionary Executive Director of Biostatistics & Data Science to lead strategy and execution across their global clinical portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in neuroscience, including Alzheimer's disease and related biomarkers.

About the Role:

• Define and execute Clinical Data Science strategies for global development programs
• Serve as the primary data science representative to health authorities, influencing regulatory perspective
• Drive adoption of AI/ML methodologies for disease modeling, biomarker analysis, and precision medicine
• Oversee large-scale initiatives ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, shaping best practices
• Lead and mentor a global team of data scientists and managers

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic leadership in clinical trial design and data science integration
• Innovation in AI/ML applications for imaging, genomics, proteomics, and precision medicine
• Regulatory engagement and defense of data strategies
• Operational excellence in GxP compliance, vendor management, and budget oversight
  
  Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or related computational sciences
• 10+ years of experience in clinical development, data science, and biostatistics
• Recognized leader in AI/ML or precision medicine
• Proven regulatory engagement and external presentation experience
• Strong leadership skills with global team management experience
• Preferred: Research experience in neurology, especially Alzheimer's biomarkers (plasma, CSF, imaging)
  
  Salary: $300-380,000 base salary + bonus + LTI
