Job Title: Director, Global Market Access and Government Affairs
Location: EMEA or North America (Remote or Hybrid Options Available)
Overview:
This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing global market access and government affairs strategies across multiple regions, including EMEA, North America, APAC, China, and LATAM.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement integrated global market access and reimbursement strategies to support product launches and lifecycle management.
- Shape and influence public policy to foster favourable environments for patient access.
- Engage with government officials, policymakers, and regulatory agencies to advocate for supportive healthcare policies.
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks.
- Interpret trends in health, economic, trade, science, and innovation policy to inform strategic planning.
Operational Execution:
- Lead a high-performing, diverse team of professionals across global regions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align market access strategies with broader business goals.
- Build and maintain partnerships with payers, public institutions, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in public health, public policy, health economics, business, or a related field.
- Significant experience in market access, government affairs, or health policy within the healthcare or life sciences sector.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
- Strong understanding of global healthcare systems, reimbursement pathways, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
