Clinical Research Physician (Director or Senior Director level)

About the Role:

An international biopharmaceutical organization is seeking a Clinical Research Physician at the Director or Senior Director level to lead global clinical development programs in oncology. This is a strategic and hands-on role for a medical professional with deep clinical research expertise and a passion for advancing innovative therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Strategy & Trial Design: Lead the planning and execution of global clinical trials (Phases I-IV), ensuring alignment with regulatory and corporate goals.
• Medical Oversight: Act as medical monitor, ensuring patient safety, data integrity, and compliance with GCP and regulatory standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global teams in biostatistics, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, and more.
• Scientific Leadership: Stay current with scientific advancements and represent the organization at conferences, advisory boards, and regulatory meetings.
• Mentorship: Support and mentor junior clinical staff, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  
  

Your Profile:

• MD (or equivalent) with board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Oncology, Hematology, Internal Medicine).
• 5+ years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, ideally in oncology.
• Proven track record in leading clinical trials and contributing to regulatory submissions (IND, NDA, BLA).
• Strong understanding of cancer biology, treatment modalities, and emerging therapies.
• Experience with biologics, small molecules, or novel therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with global regulatory requirements.
