About the Opportunity

A growing specialist Contract Research Organisation (CRO) is seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager to join its expanding team in Germany. With approximately 50 employees, this organization offers a highly collaborative environment where project managers have strong visibility, autonomy, and direct impact on study delivery.

The company supports a broad portfolio of clinical research programmes across Oncology, Immunology, Rheumatology, Dermatology, and CNS, managing studies from Phase I through Phase IV, as well as non-interventional research projects across the DACH region and international markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinical operations professional who enjoys working within a dynamic mid-sized environment and leading diverse clinical studies from start-up through close-out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational delivery of clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, resources, and quality metrics
  • Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors and key stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functional study teams and external vendors
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and GCP standards
  • Support study start-up, enrolment, monitoring, and close-out activities
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree in Life Sciences or related discipline
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Project Manager within a CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical environment
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial management across Phase I-IV studies
  • Experience managing sponsor relationships and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent knowledge of ICH-GCP and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English required; German language skills advantageous
