Business Development Manager - Pre-clinical Services
An innovative and specialised contract research organisation (CRO) is seeking a strategic and scientifically adept individual to join their Commercial Team as a Business Development Manager. This role is based in Europe, offering remote work flexibility and requiring travel to engage with clients and participate in industry events. The organisation excels in providing Proteomic and Mass spectrometry services to the biopharma and biotech market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients and emerging trends to proactively discover new business opportunities.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with KOL's
- Generate new business leads
- Represent the company to enhance brand visibility, expand networks, and build professional relationships at international conferences.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities and market differentiation.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure favourable terms while balancing client satisfaction and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline (Molecular biology, Biotechnology, Life sciences)
- At least five years of proven success in business development, sales, or account management roles within a contract research organisation (CRO)- ideally bioanalytical services.
- Proven success with LC-MS or proteomic service selling.
- Familiarity with GxP regulations
- Based in Europe, open to travel (20%) with remote working full time
