As an Associate Scientist in Formulation Development, you'll contribute to the development of solid oral drug products by supporting formulation design, conducting lab experiments, and collaborating with experienced scientists. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and optimization of solid oral dosage forms (e.g., tablets, capsules) under the guidance of senior scientists.
- Conduct laboratory experiments including pre-formulation studies, prototype development, and stability testing.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of experimental procedures, results, and observations in compliance with cGMP standards.
- Support scale-up and tech transfer activities by preparing materials and coordinating with internal and external teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Analytical, Quality, and Regulatory to ensure project alignment.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe, organized working environment.
- Stay current with industry's best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, preferably with solid oral dosage forms.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques, equipment, and documentation practices.
- Basic understanding of regulatory and quality standards (e.g., cGMP, ICH).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
