The Role:

The team is looking for Research Engineers to design, train, evaluate, and optimize the models and infrastructure that power the platform while working in tight loops with research scientists. This role will be moving between systems work, applied ML, and pragmatic research towards shipping product.

What You Bring:

• HPC or systems engineering, custom kernels / GPU programming, large‑scale ML + data systems.
• Strong Python and experience with a deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch).
• Comfort with OS internals and performance tuning.
• Experience running on cluster environments (e.g., Slurm, Kubernetes) and managing experiments at scale.
• Evidence of performance engineering and profiling on CPU/GPU workloads.
• Experience building and maintaining large‑scale data/ETL pipelines.
• Bonus: familiarity with model deployment, observability, or secure data handling in scientific settings.
