Account Supervisor, Medical Communications

Position Summary:
Currently partnered with a leading Medical Communications agency that is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Account Supervisor to join the team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in healthcare communications, client management, and project leadership. The Account Supervisor will serve as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring the successful execution of medical education materials.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned clients, building trust and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Understand client objectives and provide strategic guidance to meet their goals.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and status updates.

Project Oversight:

  • Manage the development and delivery of medical communications projects including slide decks, advisory boards, symposia, publications, and digital content.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Collaborate with medical writers, designers, and other cross-functional team members.

Strategic Planning:

  • Support the development of strategic communication plans and proposals.
  • Contribute to brand planning and tactical execution aligned with medical and marketing strategies.

Team Leadership:

  • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure quality control across deliverables.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor budgets, track project costs, and support forecasting and billing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, communications, marketing, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in medical communications, healthcare advertising, or pharmaceutical marketing.
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and medical content development.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
