Engagement Manager

A growing healthcare marketing and consulting organization is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead client relationships, develop strategic marketing initiatives, and oversee integrated engagement programs for pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare clients. This individual will serve as a key partner to clients, helping to drive brand growth, optimize customer engagement, and deliver impactful marketing solutions that align with business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong account management skills with strategic thinking, project leadership, and a deep understanding of healthcare marketing. This role requires someone who can navigate complex client environments, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
Understand client business goals, challenges, and market opportunities to develop customized marketing recommendations.
Lead the planning, development, and execution of healthcare marketing programs focused on healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and other key stakeholders.
Develop integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies that support brand objectives and customer engagement goals.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are completed successfully.
Facilitate communication between clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and efficient execution.
Monitor project performance and provide strategic recommendations for optimization and future growth opportunities.
Oversee vendor relationships and support the coordination of external resources when required.
Prepare and deliver client presentations, status updates, and strategic recommendations.
Stay current on healthcare industry trends, digital marketing innovations, customer engagement strategies, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical communications, or agency marketing environments.
Proven experience managing client relationships and leading complex projects from inception through completion.
Strong understanding of customer engagement strategies, digital marketing, and omnichannel campaign execution.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including strategy, creative, analytics, media, and operations.
Proficiency with CRM systems, marketing technology platforms, analytics tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
