Senior Account Executive - Business Development

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 + Commission (OTE $350,000)

Location: Full Remote

Currently partnered with a AI focused, Life Science organization that specializes in genomics, bio-informatics and AI-driven biomedical data that's in hyper-growth mode across the US. At its core, you have the opportunity to offer an AI-enabled, cloud native operation system (SaaS platform) for large scale omics research - enabling pharmaceutical companies, national health initiatives, and research institutions to perform complex, reproducible analyses to generate meaningful insights.

The right individual for this role will be a high-performing Sales Executive, driving new business directly to Pharma, Federal Health, Academics and Data Providers. Specializing in providing access to the most valuable genomics data - they're in search of a closer who can navigate complex B2B SaaS sales cycles while hitting pipeline and revenue KPI's.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Full-Cycle Sales
  • Target & Expand Key Verticals while focusing heavily on US-based Pharma and Federal Health organizations
  • Collaborate Globally
  • Build Relationships and Negotiate long-term partnerships

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in B2B/SaaS sales and 3+ years specifically in Biotech or Pharma industry
  • Deep understanding of Early Sciences/Discovery Stage
  • Subject Matter Expertise in discovery stage or experience with formal studies in Biology
  • Pre-existing network you can leverage to drive qualifications and meetings in first 60 days
  • Previous experience at adjacent data companies
