About the Opportunity

Biocon is seeking a high-performing Senior Territory Account Manager to drive commercial success across a specialty portfolio focused on Oncology, Retina, and Immunology. This is an opportunity to join a growing organization at an exciting stage of expansion, working with key healthcare stakeholders to improve patient access and drive territory growth.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in specialty biopharmaceutical sales, strategic account management, and experience navigating complex healthcare systems and buy-and-bill environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans to achieve or exceed sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacy stakeholders, practice administrators, infusion center leadership, and health system decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product access and utilization within hospitals, IDNs, community practices, and specialty clinics.
  • Navigate reimbursement, formulary, and site-of-care dynamics to optimize account performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and National Accounts teams.
  • Analyze territory trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to develop strategic business plans.
  • Effectively manage complex accounts while delivering strong customer engagement and business results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, specialty, or healthcare sales experience.
  • Proven success in specialty pharmaceutical sales with a strong record of sales achievement.
  • Experience calling on health systems, infusion centers, IDNs, hospital outpatient departments, specialty clinics, and physician practices.
  • Strong understanding of buy-and-bill, reimbursement, access, and account-based selling.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence multiple stakeholders within complex healthcare organizations.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and territory management capabilities.
