A leading global biopharmaceutical organization is seeking a Senior Manager of Global Forecasting. This highly visible role serves as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, shaping worldwide sales expectations, guiding pipeline investment decisions, and influencing cross‑functional alignment across Commercial, Medical, R&D, Access, Pricing, and Finance.
The ideal candidate brings deep forecasting expertise, strong analytical rigor, and the ability to synthesize complex market dynamics into clear strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary forecasting partner to brand and therapeutic area leadership, driving alignment on global sales expectations and underlying assumptions for in‑line and pipeline assets.
- Lead consensus‑building discussions across Commercial, Medical, R&D, Finance, Access, and Pricing to establish transparent, objective, and analytically sound forecasts.
- Identify risks and opportunities within the market landscape and provide actionable strategic recommendations that enhance commercial potential.
- Evaluate competitive dynamics and evolving disease‑area trends, integrating these insights into forecasting models and strategic planning.
- Develop an objective point of view on brand strategy by incorporating insights from cross‑functional data sources and stakeholder inputs.
- Apply advanced forecasting techniques-including scenario planning and simulation modeling-to quantify uncertainty and strengthen decision‑making.
- Create and deliver clear, executive‑ready presentations that articulate key forecast drivers, assumptions, and implications for senior leadership.
- Partner with broader analytics teams to integrate market insights, pricing/access intelligence, and patient‑level data to enhance forecast depth and accuracy.
- Drive process improvements to streamline forecasting cycles and increase efficiency across global teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 6+ years of forecasting, commercial analytics, demand planning, or market research experience within the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
- Proven ability to influence and build credibility with senior leadership.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience developing patient‑based or dynamic forecasting models using advanced quantitative techniques (e.g., regression, time series analysis, simulation).
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
- Familiarity with global access, reimbursement policies, competitive landscapes, and their impact on product strategy.
- Hands‑on experience with industry data sources (e.g., claims, EMR, specialty pharmacy, market performance datasets) and large analytical environments.
