About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist with a strong background in medical devices and interventional cardiology to support the clinical adoption of a breakthrough cardiovascular therapy. This individual will work directly with physicians, cath-lab staff, and clinical research teams to ensure safe, effective, and compliant use of the technology during clinical procedures.

This is a confidential role within an innovative company developing advanced minimally invasive solutions for cardiac interventions.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Case Support

  • Provide on-site, in-lab support for interventional cardiology procedures in hospitals across the region.
  • Guide physicians and staff on procedure workflow, best practices, and safe device handling.
  • Serve as the frontline expert during cases, ensuring optimal device performance and troubleshooting when needed.

Training & Education

  • Deliver hands-on training to cardiologists, cath-lab teams, nurses, and technicians.
  • Support the creation and delivery of educational materials, workshops, and simulations.
  • Maintain high clinical competency and continuously stay updated on relevant cardiology techniques.

Clinical Trial Support

  • Assist with site initiation, protocol training, data collection, and monitoring activities.
  • Work closely with clinical research teams to ensure protocol adherence and high-quality data capture.
  • Act as a liaison between investigational sites and internal clinical teams.

Technical & Product Expertise

  • Maintain outstanding knowledge of the product's technical and clinical specifications.
  • Provide feedback from physicians and hospital teams to internal engineering and clinical teams.
  • Support the evaluation of new clinical data and contribute to ongoing product improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with R&D, clinical affairs, regulatory, and marketing teams to align clinical insights with business priorities.
  • Contribute to physician engagement, product demonstrations, and conference support when required.

Requirements

Essential Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in clinical support for medical devices, ideally within interventional cardiology, structural heart, coronary, EP, or cath-lab technologies.
  • Direct experience supporting invasive procedures in a cath lab, hybrid OR, or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, imaging techniques, and interventional workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills for physician interaction and in-lab instruction.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within clinical trials, particularly first-in-human or early feasibility studies.
  • Previous exposure to novel cardiovascular technologies or start-up environments.
  • Scientific or technical degree (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Cardiology, Life Sciences).
