About the Role
As Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving regional growth through strategic sales development and go-to-market execution. You'll lead a talented team focused on delivering cutting-edge life science and genomics instruments to biopharma customers, ensuring successful product launches and sustained market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a high-impact sales strategy tailored to the life science and multi-omics sectors.
- Lead go-to-market planning for new product introductions, with a focus on biopharma applications.
- Provide commercial leadership across the UK & Ireland, managing forecasting, pipeline development, and revenue targets.
- Coach and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Build strong relationships with key biopharma and academic stakeholders, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with global marketing, product, and executive teams to align regional strategy with company objectives.
About You
- Proven experience in commercial leadership within the life science and/or genomics instruments market.
- Strong track record in sales strategy development, team leadership, and market expansion.
- Deep understanding of biopharma workflows, genomics applications, and customer needs.
- Demonstrated success in launching new products and driving adoption in complex scientific environments.
- Inspirational leader with a passion for coaching and mentoring teams.
- Scientific background in molecular biology or science related field
