A leading global medical device organisation is seeking a Vice President of Sales for the EMEA region. The company operates at the forefront of healthcare innovation, providing advanced technologies that support clinicians in improving patient outcomes across multiple clinical areas, including imaging, diagnostics, and therapeutic solutions.
The Role
The VP Sales EMEA will be responsible for leading and executing the commercial strategy across the region, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and operational excellence.
This is a senior leadership role requiring a highly strategic yet hands-on commercial leader who can build high-performing teams, manage complex distributor and direct sales models, and engage at executive level within key healthcare accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the EMEA commercial strategy aligned with global objectives
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share across key markets
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and expansion strategies
Sales Management
- Lead, develop, and scale regional sales teams (direct and distributor models)
- Establish clear targets, KPIs, and performance frameworks
- Drive a high-performance, accountable sales culture
Key Account & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, KOLs, and healthcare leaders
- Engage at C-suite and board level within hospitals, healthcare systems, and partners
- Support strategic deals and complex tender processes
Operational Excellence
- Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM utilisation
- Ensure consistent reporting, budgeting, and P&L ownership across the region
- Optimise go-to-market models across diverse EMEA markets
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, and Service teams
- Support product launches and regional go-to-market initiatives
- Provide market feedback to global leadership and product development teams
Requirements
Experience
- 10-15+ years of sales leadership experience within medical devices / healthcare
- Proven track record of leading EMEA or multi-country regions
- Strong experience in capital equipment and/or medical imaging (preferred)
- Demonstrated success managing both direct and distributor sales channels
- Experience in scaling teams and driving double-digit growth
