Regional Sales Director - Central

Role: Regional Sales Director - Central (1st Line People Leadership role)

Company Type: Mid-Size Pharma

Territory includes: MN, WI, MO, IL, IN, MI, KY, TN, WV, VA, NC, and SC (must reside within territory)

Therapeutic Area: Haematology, Immunotherapy, and Critical Care

Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Develop Sales Team: Hire, coach, and manage Hospital Sales Representatives to achieve national sales goals and ensure positive customer experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (e.g., National Accounts, Marketing, Medical Affairs, HR) and leadership to align on business plans and brand strategy execution.
  • Drive Performance & Strategy: Oversee regional sales performance, ensure quota attainment across the portfolio, and provide strategic field insights to leadership.

Preferred Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive pharmaceutical/biotech sales/account management experience
  • 3+ years direct people Leadership Experience (MUST HAVE)
  • Experience in plasma, haematology, critical care, or immunotherapy (MUST HAVE)
  • Experience selling into hospitals (MUST HAVE)
  • Proven experience in rare disease, biologics, buy and bill, and specialty drugs preferred
  • Strong strategic mindset
