This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact night shift leadership role, where you'll hold true ownership of Quality across live manufacturing operations.
We're partnering with a global life sciences organisation looking for a Quality Manager (Night Shift) to act as the primary Quality authority on-site overnight, ensuring compliance, resolving issues in real time, and driving a strong quality culture when it's needed most.
Reporting directly to the Site Quality Head, you'll play a critical role in ensuring continuous, compliant production across off-shift operations-with real visibility to senior leadership.
The Role
- Act as the lead Quality decision-maker on night shift, supporting live manufacturing
- Ensure consistent application of QMS, cGMP, and site procedures
- Lead deviation management, batch documentation reviews, and disposition decisions
- Drive root cause investigations and CAPA, escalating systemic risks where needed
- Coach teams on quality ownership, standard work, and problem solving (Gemba mindset)
- Maintain audit readiness and compliance at all times
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in Quality / Manufacturing (Pharma, Biotech, MedTech or regulated industries)
- Strong experience with GMP, QMS, CAPA, deviations, and audits
- Previous team leadership experience
- Hands-on leader with a proactive, floor-based ('Gemba') approach
- Confident communicator, able to make real-time decisions under pressure
