Overview

This role sits within the Medical Affairs function and focuses on substitution therapy and related products in the German market. The position supports medical strategy, provides scientific expertise internally and externally, and helps drive patient-centric, evidence-based approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide scientific support for products to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Respond to medical enquiries from healthcare professionals and authorities
• Support product positioning through scientific input, publications, and events
• Review and approve medical and scientific materials (promotional and non-promotional)
• Engage with healthcare professionals at conferences and educational events
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant scientific literature and therapeutic areas
• Identify evidence gaps and contribute to evidence-generation activities
• Deliver scientific training and knowledge sharing to cross-functional teams
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, regulations, and internal procedures
• Collaborate with medical leadership and cross-functional teams on strategy and insights

Requirements

• Experience in a Medical Advisor/Medical Manager role within pharma
• Expertise in substitution therapy (additional areas such as mental health, pain, or infectious diseases advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of the German healthcare market and industry compliance standards
• Relevant degree in life sciences (e.g. medicine, pharmacy, biology)
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to interpret and communicate scientific data effectively
• Business fluency in German and English
• Willingness to travel
