This position will play a key role in supporting quality and manufacturing operations by driving the investigation, documentation, coordination, and closure of non-conformance and change management activities. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality system requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the reduction and management of Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) and Supplier Change Notification (SCN) activities.
- Lead and coordinate investigations, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and closure activities in accordance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate and compliant documentation within quality management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain.
- Support risk management activities, including FMEA and product/process risk assessments.
- Participate in supplier quality activities, including occasional supplier visits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to audit readiness and support internal and external audits as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience within the Medical Device industry.
- Strong understanding of quality and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience with supplier quality management and supplier collaboration.
- Experience conducting FMEA and risk management activities.
- Experience working with CAPA, SCN, NCMR, or similar quality management systems (e.g., Epiq)
- Knowledge of Power BI.
