A leading international organisation within the diagnostics and life sciences sector is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive growth across strategic accounts in France. This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad portfolio of innovative solutions supporting clinical and laboratory environments.

The Role

Reporting into senior commercial leadership, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key customers, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share across a defined portfolio.

You will take a consultative approach, building a deep understanding of customer needs while delivering tailored solutions that support their operational and clinical objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management & Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue within major accounts
  • Build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Identify customer requirements across performance, service, and training needs
  • Lead and coordinate tender processes and large-scale commercial opportunities

Sales Execution & Pipeline Management

  • Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to close
  • Maintain an accurate and structured sales pipeline and forecasting process
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals and commercial offers

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work alongside technical, marketing, and service teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Support knowledge sharing and provide market feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Engage with key opinion leaders and industry networks

Customer Engagement

  • Deliver a high level of customer service, including training and post-sales support
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution and follow-up
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and meetings

About You:

  • Proven experience in key account management or complex B2B sales
  • Background in Pathology, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and FISH
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in managing large or strategic accounts
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and navigate complex purchasing environments
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a matrix organisation
