Summary
Senior leadership role responsible for visual inspection activities within a GMP-regulated sterile manufacturing environment. Combines people leadership, technical ownership and cross-functional coordination, with regular exposure to audits and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading a team of engineers, specialists and operators, including hiring, development, performance management and team structure
• Owning visual inspection processes across manual and automated set-ups, ensuring reliability, quality and efficiency
• Overseeing inspection operations together with associated integrity testing activities
• Acting as technical interface during external visits, audits and inspections
• Ensuring compliance with GMP, safety standards and regulatory requirements, including risk assessments and procedures
• Supporting technical topics within projects, particularly where scientific or data-driven input is required
• Working closely with manufacturing, engineering and quality functions to ensure aligned execution
• Driving continuous improvement of inspection processes and capabilities

Required Experience

• Strong background in visual inspection of parenteral products (vials and/or syringes) within GMP
• Proven team leadership experience (direct reports)
• Experience supporting or facing health authority inspections
• Fluent English with the ability to operate across functions
