Freelance Publication Manager
- Lead end-to-end publication planning and execution across established products and pipeline assets, ensuring alignment with global medical strategy
- Develop and maintain strategic publication plans, integrating data from cross-functional stakeholders and upcoming evidence outputs
- Drive the timely delivery of scientific publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, PLS, and digital assets) from initiation through to publication
- Act as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including Medical Affairs, Evidence Teams, authors, and agency partners
- Coordinate closely with the Publications Project Manager and medical writers to manage timelines, deliverables, and publication milestones
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and publication reviews, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and timely decision-making
- Review all publication content to ensure scientific accuracy, narrative consistency, and compliance with ICMJE and GPP guidelines
- Gather, consolidate, and incorporate stakeholder feedback, adapting publication plans based on evolving data, priorities, and strategic direction
- Monitor and communicate publication progress, performance metrics, and insights to stakeholders using tools such as Altmetrics and Dimensions
- Maintain oversight of budget and agency performance, ensuring alignment with the agreed scope of work and delivery expectations
