Senior Technical Sales & Support Specialist (m/f/d) - BeNeLux Region

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Sales & Support Specialist (m/f/d) to support end users across the BeNeLux region. This role combines deep scientific expertise, technical consultation, and sales support to strengthen customer relationships and contribute to regional revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will possess strong genomics expertise-particularly in Next‑Generation Sequencing (NGS)-as well as solid knowledge in cellular biology and immuno‑oncology. Frequent travel within the region is required.

Key Responsibilities

Scientific & Technical Expertise

  • Serve as the regional expert for genomics (with a focus on NGS) and cellular biology applications.
  • Provide high‑level scientific and product guidance to customers and internal teams.
  • Deliver customer presentations, seminars, demonstrations, and training sessions.
  • Support colleagues with in‑depth scientific insights and technical problem‑solving.

Sales & Business Development Support

  • Act as the senior technical liaison between product specialists, sales teams, and end users.
  • Identify, manage, and develop an opportunity pipeline in collaboration with the regional sales team.
  • Contribute to achieving and exceeding regional budgetary goals through technical sales support.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts and continuously update them throughout the year.
  • Support product launches through value proposition development, launch kits, and revenue tracking.
  • Provide analysis on competitive landscape, customer trends, and market developments.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Conduct frequent customer visits and maintain strong long‑term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify potential collaboration partners, conference contributors, and regional advocates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and influencers.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with analytics teams to interpret revenue trends and develop corrective action plans.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and technical support teams on key initiatives and strategic projects.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • PhD or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar technical support or field‑based scientific role.
  • Excellent knowledge of NGS applications, workflows, and products.
  • Understanding of NGS use across academia, industry, and diagnostics.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the BeNeLux region (>50%).

Desirable Experience

  • Familiarity with biopharma business environments and field‑based support roles.
  • Experience with a diverse product portfolio within genomics or related technologies.
  • Previous exposure to international business operations.
