Core Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship & Retention

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to established accounts, delivering proactive support and tailored insights
  • Conduct regular business reviews and resolve issues to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Gather stakeholder insights to inform strategy and anticipate competitive threats
  • Collaborate with internal teams to secure renewals and protect existing business

Account Management & Growth

  • Develop strategic account plans to expand value and profitability
  • Lead pricing, contract negotiation, proposals, and bid preparation
  • Use CRM and analytics platforms (e.g., SFDC, PowerBI) for forecasting and pipeline management
  • Support new account onboarding and drive retention and product utilization
  • Manage and train third‑party distributor sales teams to ensure effective market representation
  • Maintain strong competitive and product knowledge across assigned diagnostic lines
    (e.g., ID NOW, BinaxNOW, Determine, Clearview product families)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, and Contracting teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience
  • Provide forecasts, field insights, and performance updates to leadership
  • Address escalated customer challenges with cross‑functional support
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of successful medical sales experience, ideally in diagnostics
  • Strong knowledge of lab and point‑of‑care environments and health system operations
  • Ability to travel within the territory (up to ~35% overnight)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in business, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Experience with distributor partnerships
  • Strong financial acumen and market analysis skills
  • Proven success in complex selling, planning, and negotiation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
