Core Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship & Retention
- Serve as a trusted advisor to established accounts, delivering proactive support and tailored insights
- Conduct regular business reviews and resolve issues to enhance customer satisfaction
- Gather stakeholder insights to inform strategy and anticipate competitive threats
- Collaborate with internal teams to secure renewals and protect existing business
Account Management & Growth
- Develop strategic account plans to expand value and profitability
- Lead pricing, contract negotiation, proposals, and bid preparation
- Use CRM and analytics platforms (e.g., SFDC, PowerBI) for forecasting and pipeline management
- Support new account onboarding and drive retention and product utilization
- Manage and train third‑party distributor sales teams to ensure effective market representation
- Maintain strong competitive and product knowledge across assigned diagnostic lines
(e.g., ID NOW, BinaxNOW, Determine, Clearview product families)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, and Contracting teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience
- Provide forecasts, field insights, and performance updates to leadership
- Address escalated customer challenges with cross‑functional support
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of successful medical sales experience, ideally in diagnostics
- Strong knowledge of lab and point‑of‑care environments and health system operations
- Ability to travel within the territory (up to ~35% overnight)
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in business, healthcare, or life sciences
- Experience with distributor partnerships
- Strong financial acumen and market analysis skills
- Proven success in complex selling, planning, and negotiation
