Diagnostic Account Manager - IL
This role is a field‑based Account Manager position responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing key customer relationships across hospital, laboratory, and point‑of‑care settings. The position requires strong technical fluency in diagnostics, consultative selling skills, and the ability to influence purchasing decisions while delivering tailored solutions that improve clinical decision‑making and patient outcomes. Core responsibilities include developing strategic account plans, conducting business reviews, resolving customer challenges, optimizing product utilization, managing contracts and pricing, training and supporting distributor partners, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams in sales, marketing, finance, and technical service. The role also involves forecasting, pipeline management, competitive analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Ideal candidates bring a bachelor's degree, at least four years of successful medical sales experience-preferably in diagnostics-a deep understanding of hospital and point‑of‑care workflows, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles while traveling extensively within the territory.
