Clinical Trial Manager

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to step in as the in‑region clinical operations lead for APAC at a privately backed, clinical‑stage biotech entering a decisive phase of growth. The company has moved beyond platform promise into execution - multiple programs advancing, real patients enrolling, and global timelines that now depend on strong regional delivery.

You would own APAC not as an afterthought, but as a strategic region. You'll shape how trials come to life locally: countries selected, sites activated, patients enrolled, milestones met. Your judgment will directly influence how fast and how well programs progress toward meaningful readouts and regulatory moments.

If you've felt boxed in at a large pharma or CRO - managing fragments of studies without true ownership - this role changes that. You'll be trusted to run the region, partner closely with global clinical leadership, and build the operational foundation that will support years of growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead APAC execution for global clinical trials, translating strategy into real enrollment, clean data, and on‑time milestones.
  • Drive region‑specific plans from site activation through key inflection points such as FPI, interim analyses, and database lock.
  • Act as the primary operational voice for APAC, influencing global decisions on timelines, risk, and resource allocation.
  • Build trusted relationships with investigators, partners, and vendors to ensure patients are enrolled efficiently and ethically.
  • Anticipate and resolve regional challenges early, keeping programs moving without surprises.
  • Help shape what APAC clinical operations becomes as the portfolio and footprint expand.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience leading or substantially supporting clinical trials in APAC, ideally as a CTM or regional operations lead.
  • Exposure to end‑to‑end trial delivery, including site start‑up, enrollment, and close‑out activities.
  • Comfort operating with autonomy and making decisions that balance speed, quality, and patient safety.
  • Experience working with global study teams and external partners across cultures and time zones.
  • A pull toward programs addressing serious disease, where execution truly matters for patients.

What You'll Get

  • Suggested salary range: USD $150,000 - $170,000 base, plus target bonus and long‑term equity (final package depends on location and experience).
  • True regional ownership with visibility to global clinical leadership and a seat at the decision‑making table.
  • A portfolio with momentum - real trials, real patients, real milestones ahead.
  • The chance to shape the APAC operating model as the organization scales.
  • Equity in a company still early enough that individual impact is unmistakable.
