Business Manager, Taiwan

Our client is a global medical device organisation with an established and growing presence across Asia-Pacific. They are seeking an experienced Business Manager to lead and scale their business in Taiwan. This is a senior commercial role with full responsibility for driving growth, strengthening market presence, and executing local business strategy.

The successful candidate will own the end-to-end performance of the Taiwan market, working closely with regional stakeholders, distribution partners, and key customers to deliver sustainable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the commercial strategy across multiple cities in Taiwan to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Develop and deliver localized business and key account plans aligned with regional objectives
  • Drive market expansion through new customer development, product launches, and portfolio optimisation
  • Build, manage, and develop distribution partners to ensure an effective and compliant go-to-market model
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, KOLs, and industry stakeholders
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory environment to identify opportunities and risks
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance updates, and market intelligence to regional leadership
  • Support team development and foster effective collaboration with cross-functional and regional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, or a related discipline
  • At least 15 years of experience in medical device sales and commercial leadership
  • Strong background in interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, or related medical technologies
  • Proven track record in driving business growth, market development, and partner management
  • Solid understanding of the Taiwan healthcare market and regulatory landscape
  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is highly desirable
