A leading global manufacturer and exporter of standardized herbal extracts and branded botanical ingredients, serving global Nutraceutical, Pharma-Nutra, Probiotic, Sports Nutrition, and Dietary Supplement industries. As part of the global expansion strategy, we are establishing our new office in Germany to strengthen our European operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Business Development Manager to lead our Germany office setup and drive growth across European markets. The candidate will play a key role in market expansion, client acquisition, regulatory coordination, and distribution network development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

Develop and execute strategic sales plans for Europe.

Identify and onboard new customers in Nutraceutical, Pharma-Nutra, and Dietary Supplement sectors.

Promote standardized herbal extracts and branded botanical ingredients.

Achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives.

2. Market Expansion

Conduct market analysis for Germany and broader EU region.

Develop distributor and channel partner network.

Represent the company at European trade shows and exhibitions.

3. Import-Export & Regulatory Coordination

Manage global import-export documentation and compliance for EU.

Coordinate with regulatory consultants for EU compliance (EFSA, Novel Foods, etc.).

Ensure smooth logistics and supply chain operations.

4. Client Relationship Management

Maintain strong relationships with key accounts.

Handle technical-commercial discussions with R&D and procurement teams.

Provide product positioning and technical presentations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nutraceuticals, Business, or related field.

3-5 years of experience in:

Standardized Herbal Extracts

Branded Botanical Ingredients

Nutraceuticals / Pharma-Nutra

Probiotics

Sports Nutrition

Dietary Supplements

Global Import-Export

Strong understanding of European nutraceutical market.

Knowledge of EU regulatory framework is preferred.

Fluency in English (German language skills are an advantage).
