Visual Inspection Consultant - 12-Month Contract - Normandy, France
We are currently supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Normandy that is seeking an experienced Visual Inspection Consultant to join on a 12-month contract.
This is a hands-on, operational role focused on supporting visual inspection activities across sterile manufacturing lines, with a strong emphasis on process optimisation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support across manual, semi-automated, and automated visual inspection processes
- Act as an SME for semi-automated inspection, ensuring efficient and compliant operations
- Support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives within inspection activities
- Assist with process optimisation to enhance inspection efficiency and reduce defects
- Contribute to validation activities including qualification and re-validation of inspection processes
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer to site personnel
Required Profile
- Strong experience within visual inspection, ideally in sterile / injectable products
- Proven expertise in semi-automatic inspection systems (essential)
- Recent, hands-on experience working in GMP-regulated environments
- Ability to support validation, optimisation, and training activities
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, shop floor-focused role
