Our client is seeking a Strategic Insights Director to lead the development of high-impact competitive intelligence, market insights, and strategic recommendations for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of medical communications, market research, AI, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic insights engagements spanning competitive intelligence, market landscape analysis, and business strategy
- Synthesize complex healthcare, clinical, commercial, and market data into actionable recommendations
- Develop executive-readydeliverables, including:
- Strategic insight reports
- Competitive intelligence briefings
- Executive presentations and slide decks
- Market landscape assessments
- AI-powered insight summaries
- Client workshops and strategic planning materials
- Partner directly with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to address key business questions
- Leverage AI-enabled platform and emerging technologies to enhance insight generation and decision-making
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across analytics, consulting, medical affairs, commercial, and market research functions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in the medical coimmunications agency field
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or medical communications organizations
- Strong experience working in market research, developing advisory boards and insight gathering
- Interest in AI, data-driven decision-making, and emerging technologies within healthcare
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree preferred (PhD, PharmD, MD, MS)
