Our client is seeking a Senior Medical Writer to join a growing publications team supporting leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. This role is ideal for a writer with a strong background in HEOR, RWE, and scientific publications who enjoys transforming complex data into impactful scientific communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of publicationdeliverables, including:
- Manuscripts
- Abstracts
- Posters
- Congress presentations
- Publication plans
- Translate complex clinical, HEOR, and RWE data into clear, publication-ready content
- Partner with clients, authors, and cross-functional teams throughout the publication development process
- Ensure scientific accuracy, strategic alignment, and adherence to publication guidelines
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting timelines and quality expectations
- Support publication strategy and data dissemination across key therapeutic areas
Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical communications agency experience
- Strong publications writing experience, including manuscripts, abstracts, and posters
- Demonstrated experience supporting HEOR and/or Real-World Evidence (RWE) projects
- Ability to interpret clinical, outcomes research, and observational study data
- Excellent scientific writing, editing, and communication skills
- Advanced life sciences degree preferred (PhD, PharmD, MD)
