New Jersey (4x on-site per week)

EPM is supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organization in their search for their next leader in Contract Management to join their team. The Contract Manager plays a key role in overseeing contract negotiations, execution, and lifecycle management across assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with internal policies. They also maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely and accurate communication critical to compliance with contractual terms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee contract negotiations with a focus on SLA compliance, risk mitigation, and collaboration with legal and senior management, while coaching stakeholders on contract language and policy updates.
  • Manage and improve contract templates and systems, ensuring standardization, compliance, and continuous enhancement through change management and monitoring usage.
  • Drive performance through metrics, developing and presenting KPIs that track negotiation cycle times, CRM volumes, and process accuracy to inform business decisions.
  • Support operational excellence by identifying process improvements, leading training initiatives, developing SOPs, and integrating contract administration during acquisitions.
  • Foster a culture of leadership and collaboration, mentoring team members, supporting audits, influencing decisions without authority, and contributing to strategic projects and platform implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degrees are preferred.
  • General knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical company processes including contracts interpretation/implementation, chargeback adjudication and rebates processing Experience in standard industry system environments specifically SAP, and Revenue Management Solutions (i.e. Vistex, ModelN, iContracts) (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP & Revenue Management System (i.e. Vistex, Model N, etc.) (Preferred)
