Location: U.S. Remote (East Coast preferred)
EPM Scientific is partnered with a clinical-stage biotech at the forefront of targeted cell therapies for autoimmune diseases, seeking a seasoned Senior Director to build and lead the field medical organization from the ground up - architecting a national team, defining field strategy, and establishing relationships with investigators, KOLs, and treatment centers.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and lead an MSL team to support pre-launch activities and launch objectives
- Develop and execute field medical strategy, translating clinical and scientific data into impactful engagement plans and scientific messaging
- Oversee strategic engagement with KOLs, investigators, and cell therapy treatment centers
- Support clinical trial execution and pre-launch planning, partnering cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Commercial, Market Access, and Compliance
- Ensure field medical launch readiness by anticipating and addressing barriers to cell therapy adoption
- Establish team budgets, KPIs, CRM, and reporting frameworks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
- Ensure actionable field insights inform broader Medical and Commercial strategy
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO)
- 10+ years of Medical Affairs experience
- 3+ years of Field Medical/MSL team leadership
- 5+ years of cell therapy experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary of $280K-$320K
- 25% annual bonus plus equity LTIP
