Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle for NAO & PAO products across assigned EMEA accounts and territories.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve short and long-term revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities across existing and emerging applications.
  • Develop new product applications aligned with product line strategies and market requirements.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, pricing, and supply arrangements within approved authority levels.
  • Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and business cases in line with company policies.
  • Support customers with technical and commercial expertise to maximise product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive product introductions and commercialisation activities for new and developmental products.
  • Monitor market developments, competitor activity, pricing trends, supply-demand dynamics, and customer requirements.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, budget planning, and regular performance reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with technical, supply chain, finance, customer service, and product management teams.
  • Manage distributor relationships and ensure alignment with regional sales strategies.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, Global Account Management, or Technical Sales.
  • Experience within lubricants, synthetic base oils, petrochemicals, speciality chemicals, polymers, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of NAO (Normal Alpha Olefins), PAO (Polyalphaolefins), synthetic lubricants, and associated applications.
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business opportunities and growing strategic customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and commercial terms.
  • Experience working in an international and cross-functional business environment.
  • Fluent English and German language skills
  • Willingness to travel across the EMEA region up to approximately 30%.
